JET 6 TWEETER
Engineered and designed in Keil, Germany, the JET 6 Air Motion Transformer tweeter offers a wide frequency response (Up to 50kHz), low distortion, and remarkable clarity in reproducing the high-frequency spectrum, contributing to a more immersive and detailed audio experience for listeners.
ACOUSTICALLY OPTIMIZED CABINETS
Each Solano enclosure undergoes meticulous engineering, featuring sturdy MDF outer walls and elegant gloss-painted finishes. DOWNWARD FIRING PORT
The bass reflex port on the Solano series is designed to exit downward from the bottom of the speaker cabinet, allowing for greater flexibility in speaker placement and reducing ventilation noise.

Design Principles
Visual and Acoustic Harmony
The basic rectangular shape of the cabinet, that is made from solid MDF, is paired with a slightly curved front baffle and provided with large radiuses. This all leads to a compact but impressive appearance. All forms and materials lead to one harmonical picture. It combines ELAC’s most famous German-engineered technologies—specifically the JET 6 tweeter—with a refined cabinet design that makes it easier to place in a real living room than many of its competitors.

1. The JET 6 Tweeter (Air Motion Transformer)
The "heart" of this speaker is the JET 6, the latest generation of ELAC’s Air Motion Transformer (AMT). Unlike a traditional dome tweeter that pushes air like a piston, the JET 6 uses a folded foil membrane.
